G-type single screw pump


 

G-type single screw pump belongs to rotor type positive displacement pump. It relies on the mutual meshing of screw and bushing to produce volume change in suction chamber and discharge chamber to transport liquid. G-type single screw pump is a closed screw pump with internal meshing. The main working parts are composed of bushing (stator) with double head spiral cavity and single head spiral screw (rotor) meshed with it in the stator cavity.




Compared with piston pump, centrifugal pump, vane pump and gear pump, G-type single screw pump has the following advantages due to its structure and working characteristics:




1. It can transport medium with high solid content;




2. A multi-purpose pump can transport media with different viscosities;




3. The flow is directly proportional to the speed of the pump, so it has good variable adjustability;




4. The flow is uniform and the pressure is stable, especially at low speed;




5. Small size, light weight, low noise, simple structure and convenient maintenance;




6. Suitable for transporting sensitive articles and articles vulnerable to centrifugal force;




7. The installation position of the pump can be tilted arbitrarily.




Working principle of G-type single screw pump:




When the input shaft drives the rotor to make planetary rotation around the center of the stator through the universal joint, the stator rotor pair will continuously mesh to form a sealing cavity. The volume of these sealing cavities will move at a constant speed axially, conveying the conveying medium from the suction end to the extrusion end through the stator rotor pair, and the medium sucked into the sealing cavity will flow through the stator without being stirred and damaged.




The inner surface of the bushing has double threads, any section of which is a long circle, both ends are semicircles with radius R (equal to the section radius of the screw), and the middle is a straight line segment with length 4E. Any section of the bushing is the same long circle, but staggered by an angle from each other.




After the screw is installed into the bushing, a closed chamber is formed between the screw surface and the internal thread surface of the bushing, and any section is also divided into upper and lower crescent chambers. When the screw rotates, the volume of the first working chamber close to the suction chamber gradually increases to form a negative pressure, and the liquid is sucked into the working chamber under the action of the differential pressure. With the continuous rotation of the screw, the volume of the working chamber continues to increase to the maximum. After that, the working chamber is closed and the liquid is pushed axially to the extrusion chamber. At the same time, the upper and lower working chambers alternately inhale and discharge liquid, so the liquid is continuously pushed axially from the suction chamber to the extrusion chamber.




As a general-purpose pump, the flow of G-type single screw pump can be adjusted by changing the speed according to the requirements. The operating speed can be high or low. The outlet pressure can increase with the number of pump stages. The pressure increases by 0.6MPa for each stage. It is widely used in the following ranges and industries:




1. Environmental protection: transportation of industrial sewage, domestic sewage and muddy water containing solid particles and short fibers, especially suitable for oil-water separator, plate and frame filter press and other equipment;




2. Shipbuilding Industry: transportation of sewage media such as low-pressure cleaning, oil-water, oil residue and oil sewage;




3. Petroleum Industry: transporting crude oil, the mixture of crude oil and water, the mixture of coalfield gas and water, pouring polymers into the formation, etc., so as to reduce the cost of mechanical oil recovery and coalfield gas, and increase the oil recovery rate;




4. Brewing industry: all kinds of fermented viscous liquid, concentrated distiller's grains, grain product residue, all kinds of sauces, pulps and mucus containing fast solids;




5. Medicine, daily chemical: transportation of viscous slurry, emulsion, various ointment cosmetics;




6. Food canning industry: transportation of all kinds of fermented viscous starch, edible oil, honey, syrup, fruit pulp, cream, fish minced meat and its leftovers;




7. Construction industry: spraying and conveying of cement mortar, lime slurry, coating and other paste;




8. Chemical industry: various suspensions, Oils and fats, various colloidal slurries and various adhesives;




9. Mining industry: underground water and sewage slurry containing solid particles in the mine are discharged to the ground;




10. Printing industry: transportation of high viscosity ink, PVC polymer plastic paste of wallpaper, pulp and short fiber slurry of various concentrations;




11. Industrial boiler: power plant, coal water slurry transportation.
